Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
Gillette is looking for an APP to join the Lifetime Clinic Urology care team in St. Paul, MN.
In a highly independent role, the practitioner will assess, evaluate and manage the medical urologic and related bladder/bowel concerns of adults at the Gillette Lifetime Clinic by providing clinical care to patients in a family-centered model with complex acute, critical and chronic health care conditions. This role also manages urology related labs, urodynamic tests and procedures as needed. In addition the APP advises patients on health maintenance and disease prevention, and/or provides skilled assistance in navigation of the health care system as appropriate to the developmental, cultural, emotional, and medical, surgical, or rehabilitative needs of the patient and their families .
This position is a 1.0 FTE. Hours/Shift: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
Professional advanced practice provider licensure as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant:
Current RN license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse license through the Minnesota Board of Nursing
Completion of an family or adult nurse practitioner program with a Master of Nursing Degree or a Doctorate of Nursing Practice
Current national certification from one of the following:
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
American Nurses Credentialing Center
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certified as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Licensure as a PA in Minnesota; certification and prescriptive authority
Current CPR- BLS for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association
Demonstrated interpersonal communication, organizational and leadership skills. Ability to function autonomously as a provider.
Demonstrated competence in working with infants, children, adolescents and/or adults with disabilities and their families.
