Responsible for the oversight and direction of the system’s comprehensive program for accreditation, certification and regulatory activities.This includes, planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of assessment activities for ensuring continual compliance. Serves as the leader and expert resource for regulatory/accreditation and licensure standards and sets expectations for compliance.Designs and implements a systematic approach to ensure a high level of awareness of regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.

Knowledge and understanding of purpose and impact of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
Demonstrates excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data and statistical models.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Required Experience:Minimum 5 years of related work experience in a clinical environment.
Required Education:Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field.
Preferred Education:Master’s degree in Business Administration/Healthcare Management.
Preferred Certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) issued by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ).
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
Occasional bending and lifting to 20 lbs. may be required.
Moderate to extensive travel will be required.
