Responsible for strategically planning and implementing outreach efforts focusing on other acute care hospitals, post-acute care facilities, and medical directors/administrators at those facilities. All efforts should be focused to best grow and develop hospital service lines as described in Tenetâs Guidance on Creation and Enhancement of Service Lines at Hospitals and the hospital business plans. The position primarily focuses on educating medical directors, administrators, nurse practitioners, and physicians who may have the need to transfer patients to our facilities based on acuity level. The goal will be to increase selection of our facilities for receipt of transfers due to our high standards for clinical quality and service. Work to be performed in compliance with the Companyâs Standards of Conduct and policies and procedures, particularly those involving referral source arrangements.
Responsible for strategically planning and implementing visits to post-acute care facility staff and rural acute care facilities throughout the primary and secondary markets in an effort to increase the selection of the hospitalâs services based on its high levels of clinical quality and service.
Should focus on facilities that are approved by Group VP of Sales and Group/Market CSO.
Required: Bachelorâs degree in Marketing/Sales, Nursing or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. Preferred: Masterâs degree in Business or Healthcare/Nursing or a related field.
Required: 5 years of experience in a related field such as physician relations, network development, medically-related sales, or a similar role in a hospital or other healthcare setting, preferably from Tenet or a company with a robust ethics and compliance program. Preferred: Nursing or healthcare background highly desired but not mandatory.
