This position will have supervisory responsibilities for either ACU, ICU or FBC. The supervisor's primary role will be to delegate tasks, coach, educate, support and motivate staff. Practices the prescribed philosophy, purpose, standards and policies of the ANA and unit specific governing organizations. Nursing Standards and Jefferson Healthcare. Provides leadership and management to maintain, develop and enhance operational performance, quality of service and delivery of care for assigned areas of accountability. Promotes continuity of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. Must be capable of functioning as a member of the core team in order to mentor, educate, and supervise care teams. Delegates and supervises the delivery of patient care by the nursing staff which includes RNs, CNAs, Telemetry Techs and HUC staff.
Education and/or Experience
Current Washington State RN license in good standing
Current BLS and ACLS required, NRP for FBC supervisor required
Progressive nursing leadership experience to include unit based leadership, charge nurse or supervisory experience.
Three (3) years strongly preferred
1.0 FTE; exempt; Monday-Friday
