The Senior Project Manager for IM Health Plans reports to the Director of IM Health Plans, and is primarily responsible for managing and delivering projects for the CHRISTUS Health Plan division. This position will assist the Director of IM Health Plans in driving the overall project portfolio for the CHRISTUS Health Plan division and will engage with various levels of Health Plan leadership as executive sponsors and various Associates across multiple departments as project team members. Specifically, this position will be responsible for creating and managing complex project plans, ensuring project documentation is accurate and up-to-date, ensuring that project deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. Other activities include tracking pertinent data and facts that will be reviewed to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks, prioritize work load, and work on an ad hoc projects as assigned.
*Develops and executes detailed pre-implementation and implementation work plans and provides a single point of contact for internal staff and Health Plan team *Plans, reviews and controls the activities and conduct of project team members and/or team leaders for multiple project teams charged with the analysis, requirements definition, selection, implementation and review of health plan information technology systems *Identifies, creates and maintains project documentation related to implementation resources, schedules, work plans, issues list, status reports and any other project related documentation for the execution of Health Plan projects *Establishes and monitors project quality objectives, milestones, and benchmarks *Pre-implementation analysis and process re-design affecting the business and care processes to support organizational operations, and for measuring the effectiveness of, and recommending post-implementation strategies for enhancing the usefulness of all assigned computer system application programs, technologies and systems required to support the needs of the organization *Identifies the impact across all functional work teams that may negatively impact daily activities or the effectiveness of the project *Communicates tough issues to stakeholders and keeps an independent opinion *Conduct presentations and meetings consisting of IM , vendors, and Health Plan personnel *Works cross-functionally at all staff levels within the IM and within the Health Plan operation by directing the Health Plan project implementation *Responsible for the development and delivery of detailed work plans and reports to senior management team *Multi-task and manage any necessary project related escalations to meet timeline requirements and health plan expectations throughout the project implementation
*Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant experience in Information Systems and/or Health Plan environments required *6 years of experience managing projects *4 years of Health Plan experience.
*Scrum Master experience required *Experience with Microsoft office products and SharePoint preferred *Strong experience with Project management tools, such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, or the like preferred *Knowledge of escalations management process, quality and regulatory requirements *Ability to work individually and under minimal supervision B.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications: PMP Certification preferred Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) Certification preferred
