Working with the Pharmacy Business Operations Manager, the Compliance Program Manager is responsible for managing registration and participation in the 340B program for all covered entities within Lifespan and ensuring compliance with Section 340B and related interpretations of the Public Health Service Act (1992) as administered by the federal Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). You will ensure that participation qualifications are met and maintained (medication procurement billing, inventory and related policies and procedures); assess the potential institutional impact of new and proposed 340B regulations and changes to rulings and interpretations; and provide updates and recommendations to Lifespan’s 340B Steering Committee.
Bachelor’s degree in a business or health-related field; MBA, Hospital Administration or Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy degree highly preferred
Current pharmacist licensure in the State of Rhode Island if applicable
Ability to provide targeted communication, both verbal and written, to internal and external constituents
Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Proven analytical and process redesign skills, including problem solving, quantitative reasoning workflow, etc.
3-5 years of 340B Compliance Program experience in healthcare or with a healthcare provider preferred
