Job Summary:
Types correspondence and statistical material for Revenue Cycle.
Performs duties to support the goals and objectives of Geisinger Health System in its efforts to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
Works under the supervision of the Supervisor, Revenue Cycle.

Demonstrates the ability to work well in a team atmosphere fostering a positive, professional relationship with all staff across department and company lines.
Education and or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional business courses including typing, PC, various software packages, spreadsheets, etc. preferred.
Business office/clerical experience preferred. Knowledge of patient accounting systems, medical terminology and third party payors preferred. Keyboarding skills required.
Minimum two to three months on-the-job training to learn procedures and standard formatting and to obtain familiarity with medical and financial terminology required.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
Work is typically performed in an office environment.
