ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Credentialing Systems Coordinator to work in the Medical Dental Staff Services department at Christiana Hospital. In this position you will be responsible to design, configure, deploy, and administer technology strategies intended to increase electronic communication with the Medical-Dental staff, enhance workflow, and increase the cost effectiveness of Medical Affairs (Chief Medical Office, Medical Affairs and Medical-Dental Staff Services) Departments. Other responsibilities to include:
Analyzes current workflow and software applications for potential areas of integration and points of leverage in order to increase department efficiency, maximize human capital and eliminate/minimize manual input of data.
Develops and implements SharePoint sites for various Medical-Dental Staff committees including the Medical Executive Committee and Staff Credentials Committee.
Extends support to individuals credentialed through the Medical-Dental Staff Services office, as requested.
Develops implements and transitions current Medical-Dental Staff Services Website to SharePoint.
Develops, implements and enhances Physician Portal in collaboration with members of External Affairs.
Develops and implement migration strategies for Echo upgrade.
Provides direct support to Echo end users in order to enhance utilization. In collaboration with IT support, provides assistance in troubleshooting the HLS server.
Develops and implements strategies for use of OnBase as a document management system to include the integration of ECHO through the use of available applications.
Provides ongoing development and training opportunities to enhance shared knowledge of technology in the Medical Affairs Department.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Statistics or related field required. Four years of progressively responsible work in a professional level analytical role with experience working on high level and complex operational projects in a professional or lead role required. Previous credentialing experience required. Previous experience with business processes analysis preferred. Experience working with ECHO database preferred.
