ChristianaCare is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for the Christiana Care Oncology Hematology department at the Helen F Graham Cancer Center. In this role you will practice as a team member in the daily operation of the Oncology Hematology practice with a focus on chemotherapy administration and patient care management. You will provide nursing care, assume responsibility and accountability for oncology hematology patients. This is a fast paced environment and teamwork is a must.
You will be responsible for providing professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. You will assist Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and staff in coordinating patient care. Conduct comprehensive health assessments, identifies patient/family needs, develop treatment plans, initiate appropriate care, and continue to evaluate outcomes. Prepare and administer medications/treatments per office policy.
BSN or commitment to obtaining within three years from date of hire.
Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred or to be obtained immediately upon hire.
DE RN license required.
