The Florida Department of Health is looking to hire a Team of Long-Term Care (LTC) Infection Preventionists in various locations throughout the state. They will be responsible for working with the local health care system partners to establish response action plans for LTC facility outbreaks. A significant amount of local and regional travel is required.
Salary $75 per hour (State of Florida) pays 85% of Health Premium Costs
These are currently time limited positions:
Two (2) or more years of experience in outbreak investigations
Three (3) or more years of experience in infection control
A master’s degree in epidemiology, or equivalent degree in a health-related field, such as MPH and/or RN education required
Current certification in Infection Control and Prevention (CIC) preferred
17 openings. Telecommuting is allowed.
Additional Salary Information: Possibility of some overtime at time and a half
