JOB SUMMARY
The Accountant II is responsible for month end journal entries and account reconcilations. This position is responsible for bank reconcilations and capital. The Accountant II will work on projects and have interaction with business unit managers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Others may be assigned.
- Prepares and posts month end recurring plus adjusting journal entries including accruals and prepaids
- Perform account and bank reconciliations for high volume accounts and/or accounts which require detailed analysis
- Review month end financial statements for operational expense departments and provide analytical trend detail
- Prepares client invoicing which includes review of contracted fee schedules
- Pulls and reviews backup for Audit as directed by Accounting Manager or Accountant IV
- Maintains and analyzes fixed asset ledger and depreciation schedules
- Complete other projects as assigned by Finance Management, including communication of results to business unit managers and below

- Experience with month end close and General Ledger (G/L) reconciliation.
- Must be able to perform recurring tasks with limited supervision.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Include minimum education, technical training, and/or experience preferred to perform the job.
- 4 year college degree with major in Accounting or Finance
- 3 � 5 years of Accounting experience including Financial Statements
