Schedule: Days/Evenings and Weekend Rotation

What You Will Be Responsible For:

• Prepare foods per Dietary Recipes
• Follow patient prescribed diets

What You Will Need:

• Basic knowledge of equipment
• Able to read and understand recipes

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

• • • 3 years cooking experience
    • Able to make decisions on their own

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous food experience

Licensure, Certification or Registration Required:

Successful completion of Food Service Training School/Cumberland Valley District Board of Health, within 30 days of hire.

Job Summary:

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nutritional Services, the cook will prepare, season and cook food for hospital patients, staff and visitors.
